This week Kununurra is holding their Ord River Muster and there have been a number of events on in and around the town. This morning we went to the markets which were interesting. They were more like a fete but some interesting things were sold. Doug was particularly interested.
In the afternoon we went to Kimberley Moon which was a music festival. It started at 3.00 with some local bands and continued on until after 11.00. Fortunately sunset is at about 4.30 so we weren’t in the sun for too long. Jimmy Barnes was on for 1 ½ hours and he was excellent, followed by Vanessa Amorosi. Bob Evans was good as was Alex Lloyd. We sat on the banks of the Ord River with about 5000 other people. It was a great night.
