Happy Mother’s Day

This morning we went on a 3 gorge tour. Nitmiluk is made up of 13 gorges and we spent 4 hours cruising up and down the first 3. We saw the cliff where Jedda jumped (for all those who know the movie), 4 crocodiles and the most magnificent scenery along the gorge. You can’t swim in the gorge yet as there are still some salt water crocodiles around but as we returned from our tour we were taken to an inlet with a waterfall where we swam in the cool water. It was so refreshing as the temperature up here is around 34 degrees still. It was a fabulous trip.
