We had a wonderful meal at Quarry’s Restaurant. The food was great. Doug had more eggplant than he has ever eaten before.
We left at 8.15 this morning and headed to Port Fairy. Unfortunately we have gone on alone. Geoff and Lorelle went on to Bendigo and will then go to Canberra to spend some time with Brad and Simone while we have decided to do the Great Ocean Road before heading home.
We called in to the Wool Bales at Hamilton. They were very old but had some nice fluffy kelpie toys.
Port Fairy is a lovely town with some very old buildings. Many of these have been converted into holiday cottages. Port Fairy is on the Moyne River. It has some lovely beaches. The weather today is much warmer so hope it stays that way. It was 4 degrees when we got up this morning at 7.00. It was a lovely drive through the green pastures with many sheep dotting the landscape.
