This morning we set off for the Kalbarri National Park Gorge. What a magnificent sight! Firstly we went to Nature’s Window which has been seen quite often in brochures.
Then we went to Z Bend where the Murchison River winds around through the gorge in the shape of a Z. After completing this walk we had lunch.
On our return to Kalbarri we went to the Meanarra Lookout which was spectacular. It showed the Murchison River flowing out to the sea.
We then continued on to the Hutt River Province where we met Prince Leonard and had our photo taken with him. Prince Leonard seceded from Australia in 1970 and set up his own province. It was fantastic. He had stamps and money and a flag. He had the govt offices and a post office.
